The EGSB reactor is the third generation anaerobic reactor, and its structure is similar to that of the UASB reactor. It can be divided into an inlet water distribution system, a reaction zone, a three-phase separation zone, and an outlet channel system.Unlike the UASB reactor, the EGSB reactor has a dedicated effluent reflux system. EGSB reactors are generally cylindrical tower shaped, characterized by a large aspect ratio, which can generally reach 3-5 meters. The height of the production unit reactor can reach 15-20 meters.
Product composition
1.Inlet water distribution system: evenly distribute the raw wastewater entering the reactor to the entire cross-section of the reactor and rise evenly; Serve as a hydraulic mixer.
2. Reaction zone: The main part of the EGSB reactor, including the granular sludge zone and the suspended sludge zone.
3.Three-phase separator: composed of sedimentation zone, reflux seam, and gas seal, its function is to separate three-phase gas (biogas), solid (sludge), and liquid (wastewater).
4. Gas chamber: also known as a gas collection hood, its function is to collect the generated biogas and send it out of the gas chamber to the biogas tank.
5.Effluent reflux system: Due to its high incoming water load, it is equipped with an effluent reflux device to reduce the organic load of the incoming water while also reducing the toxicity of the wastewater.
